Bentley's Corner Barkery Takes All Natural Approach

Bentley's Corner Barkery, 90 S. Evergreen, has provided all natural pet food for its four-legged customers since 2008.

Owners Lisa and Giovanni Senafe built the business on the idea that pets deserve to live a long and healthy life. According to Lisa Senafe, that starts with feeding them foods with no corn, wheat, soy,fillers or by-products.

Food and treats sold by the business also are not produced in China because of numerous recalls in recent years.

"We've tried to create a fun, comfortable and helpful atmosphere for our customers" Senafe said. "We do all the research for you on quality food for your pet."

Other items include pet clothing, toys, collars, food bowls and a wide range of various pet supplies.

In the past, Bentley's Corner Barkery has hosted doggie ice cream socials, Halloween parties for pets and had pictures with Santa taken for both cats and dogs.

Recently, the business hosted a pet food drive and collected 2,500 pounds of food through a partnership with Young at Heart Pet Rescue.

On Saturday, July 20, the business hosted a book signing and also gave out free samples of treats on sale.

In addition to the Arlington Heights location, another store is in Schaumburg at 601 E. Golf Road and a new location will be opening in August at Route 83 and Aptakisic in Long Grove.
