Homeless Man Found Dead Along Northwest Highway
UPDATED: Arlington Heights police are investigating the unidentified man's death, but foul play doesn't appear to be a factor.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A 65-year-old homeless man was found dead Thursday along Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights. A death investigation is being conducted, but Arlington Heights police told the Daily Herald that foul play does not appear to be a factor.
According to police, officers responded to a call at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, after a man was discovered lying on the ground near Northwest Highway and Arlington Heights Road the report stated. The man, who was not identified by authorities, was unresponsive when he was found, the report added.
The Cook County medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the man's cause of death. Motorists were asked by police to avoid the area they investigated the scene.
