Boil Order Issued Following Emergency Water Main Break In Schaumburg: Village
The water main break on Sunday has resulted in water being shut down at a number of properties.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — Public works crews are continuing to work on resolving an emergency water main break that occurred Sunday, resulting in water being shut down at a number of locations. In addition, Village of Schaumburg officials said a boil order will follow once water is resolved.
The water main break occurred at Roselle Road and Kristin Drive. Traffic was closed in the area, but as of Monday morning, all lanes on Roselle Road have reopened.
Officials said Monday morning that water has been restored at the following locations, with a boil order in effect for the next 24 to 36 hours:
