Car Catches Fire Following Medical Emergency Near Schaumburg Mall: Report
The Sunday afternoon fire occurred at a parking structure for a Macy's store.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — A car caught on fire after the driver had a medical emergency Sunday afternoon near Woodfield Mall. According to reports, three other cars were also damaged due to the fire.
ABC7 Chicago is reporting the incident occurred at around 2:20 p.m. on the upper level of the parking garage for a Macy's store. A bystander was able to pull the driver from the car, and they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
