'Coach Devo' Named New Football Coach At Rolling Meadows High School
Devonte Amos, a graduate of the school, played football for newly named Athletic Director Matt Mishler.

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — Devonte Amos, known as "Coach Devo," has been named the new head coach of the Rolling Meadows High School football program. According to District 214, Amos is a "proud Rolling Meadows graduate, a dedicated educator in District 214, and a longtime member of the community."
"Coach Devo brings a deep understanding of the school's culture, a passion for student success, and a vision for the future of Mustang football," the district said in a news release.
Amos played football under newly named Athletic Director Matt Mishler, who now has the unique opportunity to support his former player in this next chapter.

"It's incredibly special to see one of our own step into this leadership role," Mishler said. "Devonte understands what it means to be a Mustang and what this program means to the community. His dedication, leadership, and ability to inspire young athletes make him the perfect person to lead this team."
