Coronavirus: Arlington Heights Library Asks For Personal Stories
The Arlington Heights Memorial Library is asking residents to share a coronavirus-related story for a collective story project.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — With the coronavirus pandemic being one of the global events that mark a generation, the Arlington Heights Memorial Library is asking residents to share their experiences and memories of living through the disaster. The goal is to create a library collection that would enable future generations to learn about the strength of the Arlington Heights community, according to the library's website.
Residents are asked to keep a record of their experiences, feelings, reflections or hopes. This could be accomplished through transcribing news articles, creating drawings, taking photographs, making short videos or composing songs.
Arlington Heights residents wishing to submit content for the project should submit an online entry form, which is available on the library's website. Anyone interested in submitting content can submit multiple pieces.
