Crash Causes Diesel Leak In Elk Grove Village; Hazmat Called

According to fire officials, a slow diesel leak in the area of Touhy Avenue and Elmhurst Road is being dealt with by a hazmat unit.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — A vehicle crash in the area of Touhy Avenue and Elmhurst Road caused a diesel leak Tuesday evening, village fire officials said.

Firefighters were on the scene to assist the crash at around 5 p.m. Tuesday and Hazmat units are on the way to contain the slow leak, according to authorities.
