Don't Miss Mane Event & Taste of Arlington Heights August 9 & 10

The third annual Mane Event and Taste of Arlington Heights will kick-off at Harmony Park on Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 at Campbell and Vail streets. 

Beginning Friday, August 9 at 5 p.m., the Mane Event Business Expo will feature close to two dozen restaurants, and a wide sampling of area businesses showcasing their goods and services.

Live entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a Thousand Julys, a pop/R&B/dance cover band, followed by Mike and Joe - a modern rock cover band - from 8:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. who will finish out the event on Friday night. 

The Taste of Arlington Heights booths open at noon on Saturday, August 10, and will feature 25 area restaurants, in addition to a variety of entertainment planned throughout the day. 

The top 10 finalists for Suburban Chicago's Got Talent will be performing to win the top spot throughout the day on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. The winner will receive an all expense paid trip to audition for the hit television show, America's Got Talent. 

To round out the evening and celebration in downtown Arlington Heights, rock band Friction goes on stage at 6:30 p.m. and headliner 7th Heaven rocks it out starting at 8:30 p.m.
