Drive the EcoBoost Challenge at Arlington Park Saturday

Participants will get the chance to drive three closed courses designed to test the Ford EcoBoost engine on Saturday.

Ford’s EcoBoost Challenge invites area residents to drive a range of fuel-efficient Ford vehicles powered by EcoBoost engines, as well as their closest competitors, on three closed courses to learn firsthand how the vehicles stack up.

Participants also will have the opportunity to drive the all-new Fiesta ST before it hits dealerships.

Ford Executives Antonio Baltar, Chris Freeman,and Andrew Massaro will be onsite to answer any questions. Ford’s Green Team will educate participants on how to maximize fuel efficiency and MPG, and all visitors will have the opportunity to drive the vehicles.

The EcoBoost challenge is a unique opportunity for customers to drive the Ford Fusion, Ford Escape and C-MAX Hybrid, going head-to-head against the competition and to experience firsthand how EcoBoost technology delivers unparalleled fuel economy and power.

The challenge consists of three closed courses designed to test the EcoBoost engine, speed and fuel efficiency. Events will include an ST Performance Academy, a Hyper-mile Challenge for Ford hybrid vehicles and head-to-head competitive drives on an EcoBoost Challenge course.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 29 from 10:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Arlington Park Race Track, 2000 W. Euclid Avenue.
