Emergency Water Main Break Closes Road In Arlington Heights: Village
Officials said Tuesday morning repairs are estimated to take between four and five hours.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — An emergency water main break has closed part of Frontage Road Tuesday morning as Arlington Heights public works and engineering crews work on repairs. According to Village officials, the water main break occurred on westbound Frontage Road, east of Windsor Drive.
In a social media alert sent out at around 10:20 a.m., the Village of Arlington Heights said in order to safely complete the repair, westbound Frontage Road will be closed between Maple Lane and Windsor Drive. Frontage Road traffic will be diverted onto Maple Lane.
Repairs are estimated to take between four and five hours. Residents should "plan accordingly and use caution when traveling in this area," the alert reads.

In addition, Village officials said they received reports of damaged parkway trees after Sunday night's storm. As public works and engineering crews work to assess these reports, residents are being encouraged to use the Village's Report-A-Concern portal to report damaged parkway trees. It can be accessed at www.vah.com/ReportAConcern or by downloading the Village of Arlington Heights App. The Village no longer uses See-Click-Fix.
