Financial Assistance Available For Arlington Heights Residents

Emergency financial assistance is available for eligible Arlington Heights residents.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Financial assistance is available for Arlington Heights residents experiencing hardships as a result of the coronavirus. The village's emergency assistance program serves as a stopgap measure for residents that may be experiencing job loss or problems maintain child or elder care. However, applicants for this funding must meet certain eligibility requirements.

Depending on certain income requirements, financial assistance can cover basic expenses like rent and utilities. Those in need of financial assistance for a medical bill, however, should contact the financial assistance department of that medical facility.

A form is available on the Arlington Heights website to apply for financial assistance. Those wishing to contribute to this assistance fund can make donations through Arlington Cares, a nonprofit established in 2002 to provide temporary economic support for residents. The money collected through Arlington Cares helps to supplement the village's emergency assistance fund.
