Hanson To Face Quigley In 5th District In November: Unofficial Results
Incumbent Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL) will face Republican Tommy Hanson in November.

ILLINOIS — Maybe the fourth time will be a charm for Republican challenger Tommy Hanson as he's set to face U.S. Congressman Mike Quigley (D-IL 5) in November following Tuesday's primary in Illinois. Hanson was challenged by a write-in candidate, Frank Rowder, while Quigley ran unopposed.
Though results are unofficial, Chicago Tribune declared both Hanson and Quigley winners soon after the polls closed at 7 p.m.
Hanson, a businessman, lost to Quigley in 2008, 2018 and 2020. Quigley has been a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 2009.
