Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's SUV Stolen During Bogus Call
Arlington Heights police have released photos of the unidentified woman suspected of taking the vehicle last month.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A Jimmy Johns delivery driver's SUV was stolen during a bogus delivery call last month, Arlington Heights police. No was hurt in the incident, and the driver was away from his vehicle when it was taken.
According to police, the theft happened at March 19 at the Comfort Inn, 2120 S. Arlington Heights Road. The driver had been lured to the hotel on a phony delivery call, and an unidentified woman stole the unoccupied 2003 Nissan Xterra while it was unlocked and the engine was still running, police said.
Investigators have released photos of the suspect and the SUV. Anyone who recognizes the woman or who has information about the incident can submit an anonymous tip:
