Local Celebrities Coming to Arlington Park, All New Colorblast 5K and More

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, are scheduled for a parade in Downtown Arlington Heights at Vail Avenue and Campbell Street on Wednesday, July 24, 4-7 p.m. This Clydesdale Parade is sponsored by CITY Beverage Arlington Heights. 

The first ever Colorblast 5K will be held on August 10 in downtown Arlington Heights. This event is about being being active and having fun and benefits Clearbrook. What better way to celebrate summer than to enjoy running, walking, skipping, and dancing in the streets of Arlington Heights all the while being the canvas for the coolest tie-dye shirt you'll ever make!

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is teaming up with local celebrities for a day of cooking demonstrations and horse racing at Arlington International Racecourse that will benefit NCH’s Gift-A-Mammogram program.

Northern Illinois Leadership Conference team is partnering with the National Junior Forensic League (NJFL) to promote leadership among middle school students and high school underclassmen.

An upcoming golf outing, Fore the Kids Golf Tournament, will be benefitting children. There will be a $1,000,000 hole in one contest, closest to pin wins a Ford Fusion, and many more prizes! 

Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-08) announced the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded a $65 million dollar grant to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
