Man With Gunshot Wound Found Dead In Pickup
The victim was discovered when Rosemont authorities responded to a call about a man with a gun Thursday morning.
ROSEMONT, IL — A man with a gunshot wound was found dead in a pickup truck Thursday morning in Rosemont, according to the Chicago Tribune. The victim had not been positively identified by authorities, and Rosemont police were handling a death investigation, the report added.
At around 11:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 ,the village received a 911 call concerning a man in a vehicle with a gun in the 9700 block of West Higgins Road, the report stated. When emergency crews arrived, the victim was found inside the pickup truck, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police do not believe there is a threat to the community.
