New Music Venue Will Offer Local Music, Local Food
The Village Board approved the plans for Hey Nonny, which plans to open in March on Vail Avenue in Arlington Heights.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Downtown Arlington Heights will have a new entertainment option in the spring. Plans for Hey Nonny, a combination music venue and gastropub, were approved by the Village Board on Monday, according to the Daily Herald. Construction on the venue will start immediately, and the business plans to hold a soft opening in March and a grand opening in April, the report added.
The venue will take up 3,974 square feet of the ground floor of a vacant building that used to be part of the Circa 57 restaurant at the corner of Campbell Street and Vail Avenue, the report stated. Hey Nonny, 10 S. Vail Ave., wants to target 30- to 40-year-old customers with local bands and musical acts performing in the 160-person capacity music area, the report added.
"[Hey Nonny] will be an intimate listening room music club, with an adjoining farm-to-table gastropub," the business' page on Culinary Agent reads. "The theme is 'Local Music, Local Food, Local Drinks,' emphasizing community and featuring the best musicians and food from the Midwest."

Noise was a concern for trustees, but the co-owner at Monday's meeting told the board that Hey Nonny will make an effort not to disturb the residents in the neighborhood, the Herald reports.
