'No Kings' Protests Planned For Arlington Heights Area
Organizers of the protests against the Trump administration believe there will be large crowds at the rallies Saturday across the country.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A second series of “No Kings” protests against the Trump administration will take place around the country on Saturday, including several in the Arlington Heights area. The following local protests are planned:
- 10 am. to noon, Oct. 18, North Roselle and Schaumburg roads, Schaumburg
- 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 18, Volunteer Plaza at Clock Tower, Palatine
- 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 18, corner of Main and Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect
- 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 18, Recreation Park Soccer Field, Arlington Heights
No Kings is a coalition of numerous progressive and pro-democracy organizations, led and coordinated by the national organizing group Indivisible.
In the first No Kings protests in June, millions of people peacefully demonstrated against what they say are authoritarian policies of President Donald Trump. The protests were held on the same day as the U.S. Army 250th Anniversary Parade on Trump’s 79th birthday.
