'No War With Iran' Anti-War Rally Planned In Arlington Heights
Here's where protesters plan to gather in Arlington Heights Thursday evening.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — One of hundreds of planned demonstrations against escalation of military conflict with Iran is scheduled for Thursday in Arlington Heights. A coalition of national political groups has organized events around the country calling for the United States to avoid "yet another unnecessary, costly war of choice in the Middle East," organizers announced.
In Arlington Heights, protesters plan to gather at 5 p.m. at the southwest corner of Arlington Heights road and Northwest Highway, and are instructed to use Egg Harbor as a destination point.
President Donald Trump's assassination of Qassem Soleimani, a top general in the Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, last week at the Baghdad Airport was followed by Iranian missile strikes Wednesday against bases in Iraq housing U.S. troops.
