One Person Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Arlington Heights
The crash was caused by a driver who had a medical episode

A driver having a medical episode caused a crash Thursday afternoon and was taken to Northwest Community Hospital, the Daily Herald is reporting.
“Sgt. Tom Boggs said the unidentified driver was heading east on Central Road in a sedan. Just past the Arlington Heights Road intersection, the driver veered left and slammed into a sedan heading west,” the Daily Herald reported. “The second car was then rear-ended by a pickup truck.”
The accident happened at 4:56 p.m. and impacted westbound traffic for just over 30 minutes.

The two sedans were towed from the scene.
