Police Officer Injured During Train Station Scuffle In Arlington Heights: Spokesperson

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A Metra police officer responding to a report of a suspicious person was injured Sunday during a scuffle with a female at the Arlington Heights station.

A spokesperson for Metra tells Patch that there was no stabbing, which had been previously reported by ABC7 Chicago among other outlets, and shared by Patch.

"There was no stabbing. One of our officers suffered a minor abrasion as police took a female trespasser into custody Sunday morning in the parking lot of the Arlington Heights Station," Gillis said.
