STREAMWOOD, IL — A 67-year-old Schaumburg man has been charged with driving under the influence after he allegedly hit and killed an 11-weeks pregnant mother of four in Streamwood on Monday. Hinigo Olvera, of the 100 block of Barrett Lane, faces a felony charge of aggravated DUI causing death in the crash that killed Aries Cobian, 29.

Police say Cobian was pushing a car eastbound on Lake Street near Park Avenue when she was hit from behind by a pickup truck that Olvera was driving. Cobian was rushed to St. Alexius Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Cobian is survived by four children, ages 10, 8, 3, and 6 months, according to a GoFundMe campaign started to help her family. As of Wednesday afternoon, the campaign had raised more than $1,000 of its $10,0000 goal.
