Mane Event/Taste of Arlington Heights Spotlight: Tuscan Market & Wine Shop

Dubbed as the Arlington Heights version of Cheers, Tuscan Market & Wine Shop, 141 W. Wing Street features hard to find craft beers and a fine selection of wines. 

In addition to a vast carry-out area, the sit down menu includes small plate items such as soups and salads, pizzas, cold and hot sandwiches, full entrees and a delectable dessert list.  

"We also feature craft beers that are hard to find and the best wine of the street," said owner Amy Philpott.

Tuscan Market & Wine Shop will be one of the main food sponsors at the Mane Event/Taste of Arlington Heights on Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10. 

Philpott said Tuscan Market's popular chocolate chip cookies will be featured at the Taste of Arlington Heights, along with double chocolate brownies. A surprise and highly desired craft beer and a number of hand-selected wines will also be offered. 

The business features a number of activities and events that involve the local community, including a monthly book club which hosts the author who signs copies and holds a book discussion. 

A Women's Run, Walk, Water and Wine Club is also an opportunity for some feminine camaraderie.
