Thief Steals Over $1K In Fragrances From Ulta: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
The theft occurred at the Rand Road location last week, according to police.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Timothy J. McCarthy, 50, homeless, is accused of possession of a controlled substance, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 4:37 Oct. 31, at Goebbert Road, south of Seegers. A court date of Nov. 5 was assigned.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH COURT ORDER

Sergio Merino Gonzalez, 48, of the 1100 block of E. Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights, had a warrant for failure to comply with a court order, and was arrested at 5:33 p.m. Nov. 2, in the 1100 block of E. Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights. Bond was set at $20,000.
VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND
Stanley Miller, 44, of the 400 block of N. Hicks Road, Palatine, had two warrants for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Nov. 4, in the 2400 block of S. Goebbert Road.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Richard E. Pfisterer, 72, of the 1300 block of Yale, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 10:18 p.m. Nov. 2, at Vail Avenue and Campbell Street. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 25.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
- An employee at Jewel, 440 E. Rand Road, reported at 9 p.m. Oct. 28, someone had stolen an unknown amount of baby formula. The person was described as a white male in his 40s, wearing a white baseball cap, gray sweater and blue jeans. They left the scene in a silver SUV.
- An employee at Ulta, 13 W. Rand Road, reported at 12:07 p.m. Oct. 30, that someone had stolen six bottles of fragrances, valued at over $1,000. The person was described as a white male, between 20 and 30 years old, wearing a black baseball hat, an Adidas brand shirt, shorts, white Adidas shoes, and had a tattoo on his right shin.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
- A citizen reported that during the overnight hours of Oct. 30, someone had stolen the catalytic converters off three of his white Ford Cargo vans in the 500 block of W. Golf Road.
- A resident of the 2100 block of S. Goebbert Road called police to report that between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Oct. 30, someone had stolen the catalytic converter off his red Toyota.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
A citizen reported at 12:38 p.m. Oct. 30, that someone had stolen his purple Nissan GT-R from the first floor of the parking garage at Northwest Community Hospital, 800 W. Central Road.
