Wheeling Brothers Stabbed During Weekend Party They Hosted

One of the brothers is in critical condition following the incident, which police say happened during a fight at the party early Sunday.

WHEELING, IL — Two Wheeling brothers were stabbed over the weekend during a party they were hosting at their home, according to the Daily Herald. One of the brothers, who is 24 years old, is in critical condition, while another brother, who is 26, was released from Advocate Lutheran Hospital in Park Ridge following the stabbing, the report added.

The incident happened before 2:15 a.m. Sunday, April 22, in the 500 block of East Merle Lane, the report stated. According to Wheeling police, the stabbing occurred during a fight at the party the brothers were hosting, the report added.

Police have made no arrests, and the case is still under investigation, the report stated. Investigators are described the stabbing an isolated, and the public is in no danger, the report added.
