Woman Accused Of Trying To Set Up Hit On Ex Given Probation
Police said the former Hoffman Estates woman had solicited numerous people to try to kill her ex-husband.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — A former Hoffman Estates woman accused of solicting numerous people to kill her ex-husband last year was given two years' probation, according to the Daily Herald. The sentence came after she pleaded guilty to misdemeanor aggravated assault in the case, the report added.
According to police, Krystyna Bury, 37, who now lives in Schaumburg, had allegedly contacted multiple people over several months in 2017 in an effort to hire someone to perform a hit on her former husband. Authorities learned of the attempts Aug. 16, 2017, and Bury was subsequently arrested.

Along with probation, Bury also was fined $239, the Herald reports. A two-year order of protection also was given to Bury's ex-husband, the report added.
