2 Killed In I-88 Crash In North Aurora: Police

NORTH AURORA, IL — Two people died in a crash Saturday night on Interstate 88 in North Aurora, according to state police.

The collision involved two vehicles and occurred around 8:10 p.m. at milepost 118 near Mitchell Road on the westbound interstate, police said, adding both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two lanes were closed but reopened around 1:20 a.m. Sunday, according to police, who said the incident remained under investigation Sunday morning.
