4 Local Men Charged With Soliciting Sex With Children In Aurora

Two of the men are from Aurora, one is from Wheaton and the other is from Des Plaines

On Tuesday, the Kane County State’s Attorney Office announced charges against four men for allegedly soliciting sex with a child or children for cash. The men have each been charged with involuntary sexual servitude of a minor, traveling to meet a minor, and grooming.

The Department of Homeland Security and the Aurora Police Department conducted an investigation on March 10 that resulted in the four arrests. The charged men allegedly traveled to a location in Aurora to have sex with a minor or minors.

Jarrett O. Ferguson, 25, from Wheaton, is held $100,000 bail

Ramesh Gannamani, 36, of Des Plaines is held on $400,000 bail

Olatokunbo Olawoye, a 44-year-old Aurora man is held on $50,000 bail

Carlos J. Zaca, 21, from Aurora, is held on $300,000 bail

Each man faces six to 30 years in prison if convicted.

A charge is merely an accusation of a crime, not a finding of guilt.
