AURORA, IL — A 63-year-old pool hall employee told Aurora Police he was knocked to the ground and beaten by two men Sunday. He had just opened up shop for the day when two men walked in around 12:15 p.m. and demanded money. The man was restrained while the suspects ransacked the business, and police said the men displayed a knife, but didn't use it on the victim.

After they took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, the victim was able to free himself. He suffered cuts and scrapes and sought his own medical attention after being treated on scene by Aurora Fire Department paramedics, according to police.

The suspects were both Hispanic in their mid-30’s to 40 years old, approximately 5-foot-1 to 5-foot-3, weighing 150 to 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, police said. One wore a green coat and black pants and the other was wearing a brown coat and blue jeans.
