7-Eleven Clerk Refuses To Give Cash To Armed Robber: Cops
Another robbery took place 25 minutes later, totaling three in the past week.

AURORA, IL — Police are looking for anyone who might have information regarding two recent robberies and one attempted robbery that occurred in the past week. No one was injured and police are unsure if they're related.
On the evening of Nov. 25, a man armed with a handgun entered the 7-Eleven in the 1700 block of N. Farnsworth and demanded money. The female clerk refused to open the register and the man ended up leaving on foot, empty-handed. The suspect was described as black, between 30 and 35 years old, more than six feet tall and thin, with his face concealed and wearing all black clothing.
About 25 minutes later, a man robbed a Walgreens clerk at gunpoint at about 9:40 p.m. The suspect's race is unknown, as he had his face covered when he entered the store on the first block of N. Union Street. Police say he pointed a gun at a clerk, and then grabbed cash out of her drawer. The man ran east from the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. He was described as 5-foot-10 to six feet tall, wearing gray pants and a black jacket.

In another incident Nov. 21 at about 8:20 p.m., a clerk at the Family Dollar in the 800 block of N. Farnsworth Avenue was approached by an armed man with his face covered, demanding money. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect ran north from the store. The victim couldn't quite make out the suspect's race, but was described as thin and 6 feet, 3 inches tall.
Police encourage anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward for information that leads to any arrests.
