National Banana Split Day falls on Monday, Aug. 25, but the business is celebrating one day early.
AURORA, IL — Aurora's beloved old-fashioned ice cream parlor Banana Split is celebrating its eponymous holiday with a giveaway.
National Banana Split Day falls on Monday, Aug. 25, but Banana Split will celebrate a day early by giving away 100 of its namesake desserts to the first 100 patrons who make a purchase on the second-to-last Sunday in August.
"Camping out is permitted," the business wrote on Facebook, adding that it's partnering with BDK Door and Banks Lawn Care for the promotion.
