Aurora Man Indicted For 2015 Shooting

He faces a minimum of 26 years in prison if convicted of the most serious offense

An Aurora man was indicted for attempted murder and multiple gun offenses from a March 2015 incident, according to the Kane County State's Attorney's Office.

On March 6, a Kane County grand jury indicted Anibal Ramos, a 20-year-old Aurora man, for attempted first-degree murder, aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a street gang member, and unlawful possession of a firearm without a FOID.

Prosecutors claim that just before 1 a.m. March 1, 2015, Ramos fired multiple shots from a handgun at a white sedan as it traveled north on South LaSalle Street in the vicinity of Bluff Street.
