AURORA, IL — A mobile coronavirus testing unit will set up Sunday outside the Supermercado La Chiquita on Aurora’s East Side to bolster local testing capacities.
Coronavirus tests will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the market at 651 Ashland Ave. on Aurora’s East Side, according to a news release.

Anyone can get tested at the mobile unit, regardless of symptoms, Kane County Health Department officials said, encouraging anyone who has been recently exposed to a potential or confirmed case to get tested.
Those being tested must provide a name and phone number so officials can reach them later with their test results. No photo ID is required.

Those who want to remain in their cars during the test must be seated at a functioning window, though people can also walk to the testing site, officials said. Test results should be available in four to seven days, officials said.
Residents can also get tested at the state's testing site across from the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora and many local health care facilities. Testing sites can be found here.
