Aurora Police Chief Hears Out Teens: Video

AURORA, IL — Aurora Police Chief Kristen Ziman and Mayor Richard Irvin met with students Wednesday after teens expressed a desire to share their concerns, according to a Facebook post by the police department.

"We have a front row view into some of the crime that is occurring," one student said, adding "but nobody ever asks us, just because we are kids."

However, "That all changed today," the department said.

"We’re going to talk less, and listen more about what some of their ideas are," Kristen Ziman said, according to the post.
