The Chief of Police sat down with some teens to get their perspective on crime in the area.

AURORA, IL — Aurora Police Chief Kristen Ziman and Mayor Richard Irvin met with students Wednesday after teens expressed a desire to share their concerns, according to a Facebook post by the police department.

"We have a front row view into some of the crime that is occurring," one student said, adding "but nobody ever asks us, just because we are kids."
