Aurora Repair Shop Fire Quickly Extinguished
The fire caused an estimated $1,500 in damage.

AURORA, IL — A fire at a repair shop was quickly put out early Monday morning at 4:14 by the Aurora Fire Department. A dozen firefighters responded to the 100 block of North Highland Avenue on the city's West Side. A passerby called it in after he or she noticed flames in the front near the garage door of the 1-story, 4-unit auto repair shop.
When firefighters arrived, they saw a small fire from the outside near the garage. It was quickly extinguished, according to a press release from the Aurora Fire Department. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation. The total damage cost is estimated at $1,500.
