Aurora's Fill The Bowls Fundraiser Shifts Locations, Tickets On Sale

AURORA, IL — The Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry will again host its popular holiday fundraiser next month, but the annual Fill The Bowls event will shift to a new location this year.

The Aurora-based food pantry recently announced that the fundraiser, which will be held from 12-3 p.m. on Nov. 12, will be held at Two Brothers Roundhouse, which is located at 205 N. Broadway in Aurora.

The event, which is commonly known as the Taste of the Fox Valley, brings dozens of local restaurants to one location for the public to sample menu items including soup, chili, appetizers, and more, organizers said.

The fundraiser was previously held a handful of times and includes mimosas, raffles, and a drawdown. Two Brothers Roundhouse has been a sought-after spot for the popular fundraiser, according to event organizers. The event is open to the public.

All ages are welcome, and discounted pricing is available for children. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased by visiting the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry website.

Fill the Bowls also welcomes the involvement of local restaurants. Interested restaurants, chefs, caterers, and food vendors should call Marissa at (630) 674-2099 in early October.
