Blaze Displaces Family Of 4 From Pointe Boulevard Residence: AFD
The fire was contained in the attached garage of a house on Pointe Boulevard in Aurora.

AURORA, IL — Two adults and two children were displaced after their house in the 2100 block of Pointe Boulevard was deemed uninhabitable following a Wednesday morning blaze, officials said.
A total of four engines, two trucks, two medic units and three chief officers were dispatched at 5:59 a.m. to the property after a resident called to report their garage was on fire.
All residents exited the house when crews began overhauling the fire with handlines. Firefighters brought the fire under control within 13 minutes, according to a news release.

The fire was contained in the attached garage, but due to smoke damage, the residence was deemed uninhabitable. Officials said the family is staying with relatives.
No civilians or firefighters were injured in the incident, which remains under investigation, officials said.
