Batavia Man Accused Of Killing Wife Denied Pre-Trial Release: State's Attorney
The 37-year-old man called 911 two days before Christmas to say he had "just killed his wife," according to police.

BATAVIA, IL — The Batavia man who was accused Dec. 23 of murdering his wife was denied pre-trial release, the Kane County State's Attorney's Office said.
Hector B. Luvianos, 37, made his first court appearance on Christmas Eve, a day after he called 911 to report that he "just killed his wife" at an apartment in the 100 block of Church Street. The court granted his detention, and the man remains in custody at the Kane County jail on two charges of first-degree murder.
The woman was identified as Noemi Parada Narvaez, according to a report from ABC7.

When officers entered the apartment, they found Parada Narvaez suffering from "significant, life-threatening injuries." First responders attempted to help her before she was pronounced dead at the scene, Patch reported.
Batavia police began investigating the incident with the help of the Kane County Major Crimes Task Force. Preliminary findings suggested the death stemmed from a "domestic-related incident," officials said.
The Batavia Police Department is asking anyone with information about the case to contact its investigations division at 630-454-2500.
Luvianos's next court date is set for Jan. 2.
