Bomb Threat At Courthouse Leads To Charge Against Aurora Man
Police allege a 50-year-old man told a clerk he would blow up the Aurora Branch Court after being upset with the outcome of a case.

AURORA, IL — A 50-year old Aurora man is facing a felony disorderly conduct charge after police alleged he threatened to blow up the Aurora Branch Court on Friday.
Police allege Larry Streit called the courthouse around 3:30 p.m. Friday and told a clerk he would blow up the building after being upset with the outcome of a case.
Aurora police, along with officers from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad and K-9 teams, searched the courthouse but did not find any explosives, according to a news release.

Streit was arrested Friday at his home in the 500 block of South Union Street and was later charged with felony count of disorderly conduct, according to police.
