Broken Utility Pole Cleared From Highland Avenue
The broken pole shut down the roadway in between Illinois Avenue and Plum Street Wednesday morning.
AURORA, IL — A road blockage has been cleared after a broken utility pole shut down a portion of Highland Avenue Wednesday morning, officials said.
According to a spokesperson for the City of Aurora, Commonwealth Edison had to repair the broken pole which fell down between Illinois Avenue and Plum Street at around 8 a.m.
A detour was not provided but the roadway was opened back up for traffic by noon.
