Consumer Protection Forum Hosted By Congressman Bill Foster

The discussion on identity theft protection and protocol takes place Thursday in Joliet.

AURORA, IL — District 11 Representative Bill Foster is hosting a community forum on identity theft. A staff member from the Federal Trade Commission will be on hand to talk about safeguarding personal data in a digital world. Talking points include the basics of identity theft and practical advice on what to do if information is compromised. The discussion takes place Thursday, Nov. 9 from 6 -7 p.m. at Joliet Public Library's Ottawa Street branch, 150 N. Ottawa St.
