Fatal Hit-And-Run Driver Sought; Man Killed In Aurora Crash
The driver of a black Infiniti fled on foot after running a red light and killing the driver of another vehicle, police said.
AURORA, IL — Aurora police are asking for the public's help tracking down a driver who caused a fatal crash, leaving a 43-year-old Aurora man dead, and fled the scene early Saturday.
The man who was killed was identified as Ramiro Moreno, of the 2700 block of Stuart Kaplan Drive.
At 5:19 a.m. Saturday, Aurora police were dispatched to the crash at Ogden Avenue and South Farnsworth Avenue.

According to police, a black 2003 Infiniti FX45 was heading east on Ogden at a high rate of speed when it ran a red light, entering the intersection and striking a gray 2000 Hondo Civic that had a green light.
Witnesses reported seeing the Infiniti driver get out of the vehicle after the crash and flee northbound on Farnsworth Avenue.

Police described the driver as a black man, around 30 years old, 5-foot-9 and around 210 pounds with long dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, light-colored jeans and white/blue Nike shoes.
Police said Moreno was found unresponsive and was taken by Aurora paramedics to Rush Copley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:06 a.m.
Aurora police and K-9 units conducted a search of the area near the crash scene but were unable to find the driver of the Infiniti. The area remained closed for several hours Saturday morning.
The Aurora police traffic division continues to investigate the crash.
