Man Shot To Death In Aurora Sunday Night

AURORA, IL — A 20-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday night in the 1400 block of Superior Street, Aurora police said.

The killing marks the second fatal shooting in as many days.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot on Superior just after 10 pm. Sunday and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds

The 20-year-old was taken to an area hospital by Aurora Fire Department paramedics. Despite life-saving efforts from paramedics and hospital staff, the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
