Update: Missing Autistic Teen In Aurora Found

The teen ran away from his mother around 7:30 a.m. this morning

UPDATE: Aurora Police Spokesman Dan Ferrelli announced just before 11 a.m. that Jackson Focken has been found (11:08 a.m. CST 2/28/2017).

Aurora Police are searching a large area on the Far West side of Aurora and its outskirts for a 15-year-old boy with Autism who ran from his mother around 7:25 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Jackson C. Focken was last seen running southbound in the area of Barnes and the Railroad Tracks near Jericho.

Jackson is 5 feet 5 inches tall and he weighs 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, sweatpants and a blue hooded sweatshirt.

Fox Valley Park District police, City of Aurora Emergency Management volunteers, Kane County Sheriff's Office deputies and Sugar Grove Police are assisting.
