Steck Fun Run Set for Sept. 24

The Steck Fun Run is a family friendly 5K run and walk supporting Steck Elementary School. The one mile walk will be held on Sept. 24 at 9:00 a.m. at 460 Inverness Drive, Aurora.

Participants can register as an individual for a fee of $20, a family of 4 or more will cost $60, and a family of 7 or more will cost $80.

All participants are invited to attend a special party following the race. Festivities will include complimentary food and beverages, music, prize drawings, and a vendor expo featuring post race information and messages, demonstrations, and freebies and giveaways. Past prizes have included free passes to local favorite hang outs, gift baskets, restaurant gift certificates, and electronics.

Race packet pick-up will be held at the Road Runner Sports Naperville store at 2555 W. 75th Street on Sept. 23 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
