AURORA, IL — Tuesday marks a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon. The date, when written numerically, is 2/22/22. Babies born today, also known as "Twosday," will forever have a special birthday, and one girl in Aurora is among them.

Ja'Lia Owens was born at 1:56 a.m at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, in Winfield. The daughter of parents who live in Aurora, the little girl weighed 5 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 17 inches long.

Besides looking neat, Tuesday's date is also a palindrome, meaning the phrase can be read the same forward and backward. It's the first ubiquitous date number since Nov. 11, 2011, when the numerical date read 11/11/11.
