Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley will host a free tutor training workshop in January. It will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 10, 12, 17, and 19 at the St. Charles Public Library.

Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley helps adults communicate in English by matching them with trained volunteer tutors who provide in-person or virtual lessons once each week. Currently, there are 20 adults who are waiting to learn.

Volunteers do not need teaching experience or a second language to be successful. The program provides material and instruction so anyone can help.
