Lake Barrington Man Is Still Missing: Authorities
It's been nearly a month since Andrew Mcauliff walked away from his home on foot. He was recently spotted in the Palatine area, police said.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's Office is continuing to ask for the public's help in locating a 30-year-old Lake Barrington man who has been missing for nearly a month.
Andrew Mcauliff was last seen leaving his home on foot in the area of the 400 block of White Oak Lane in Lake Barrington in August and did not have his cell phone, according to a Facebook post on the Lake County Sheriff's Office. He was spotted walking on foot over the weekend in the Palatine area as well, police said.
As of Thursday afternoon, Mcauliff still has not been located, Lake County Sheriff's Office deputy chief Christopher Covelli told Patch.

Authorities say they are hoping to check on his well-being.
Mcauliff is described as being 5-feet, 11-inches tall and 145 pounds and has brown hair and eyes, according to police. He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, black shorts and grey gym shorts.
