Wreaths Across America Returns December 13th
"As long as you say their names aloud, they are not forgotten." Join us to honor them on December 13th at Evergreen Cemetery.

On Wreaths Across America Day, we remember the Veterans from our community who are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, and we say their names when we place a wreath on a gravesite to honor their service. This local event is organized by the Signal Hill, NSDAR Chapter of Barrington, IL.
You will find CEOs and POWs, pilots and arborists, doctors and teachers, and their stories are told in brief biographies on the Barrington Area Library website. More than half of the 850 Veterans we will honor this December are profiled there. To learn about the men and women we honor, take a look at their stories at https://balibrary.org/local-history/1781-we-remember.
To honor a Veteran with a wreath for $17.00, please visit www.wreathsascrossamerica.org/il0113. To place a wreath with us at Evergreen Cemetery on Dundee Avenue in Barrington, please register as a volunteer and join us on December 13, 2025 at noon.
