Almost 30 Eateries Lined Up For Batavia Restaurant Madness
The event looks slightly different this year as commercials have been filmed on-location at participating restaurants to promote the event.
BATAVIA, IL — Almost 30 restaurants and cafes will be participating in this year's Restaurant Madness, set to take place from March 20 to March 24. From Italian dishes to Mexican favorites and ice cream specials, the 11th annual event has promotions that will leave most anyone's mouth watering.
This year's event is a little different than previous ones, though. Three sponsoring organizations with Both/And Pictures, a video production company, to create individual commercials filmed on-location at participating restaurants.
Each participating restaurant will have deals available throughout the event, including discounts, a prix-fixe menu or free offerings with a purchase, according to the Batavia Chamber of Commerce, who is hosting the event along with Batavia MainStreet and the City of Batavia.

As commercials are completed, they will be published on a YouTube page called Batavia Restaurant Madness 2022. To participate, restaurant-goers should mention the promotion highlighted in the video when visiting the restaurant during the week-long event.
"We are encouraging everyone to visit the variety of great restaurants located within Batavia," Margaret Perreault, president and CEO of the Batavia Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement. "The goal is to also attract diners from other communities to Batavia, along with Batavians, to experience our wonderful restaurants."
