Batavia Theater To Show Animated Blockbusters All Summer Long

BATAVIA, IL — When it's too hot to run around outside this summer, kids will have the chance to cool off inside with animated adventures at the Emagine movie theater in Batavia.

From June 20 through Aug. 15, Emagine will feature a new animated movie each week, with tickets costing $3 per person and Magic Pack concessions, which include popcorn and a small drink, costing $5.

Here's a look at the series schedule for the movie theater located at 550 N. Randall Road:

• June 20-27: "The Garfield Movie" (2024)
• June 27-July 4: "The Bad Guys" (2022)
• July 4-11: "Lyle, Lyle Crocodile" (2022)
• July 11-18: "The Angry Birds Movie" (2016)
• July 18-25: "The Angry Birds Movie 2" (2019)
• July 25-Aug. 1: "The Wild Robot" (2024)
• Aug. 1-8: "Despicable Me 4" (2024)
• Aug. 8-15: "Kung Fu Panda 4" (2024)
• Aug. 15-22: "Trolls Band Together" (2023)
